Filmmaker, Editor, and Critic
I am a filmmaker, film critic, editor, and programmer based in New York City.

My first short film as a director, La Visita, was selected as part of the Sundance Ignite program. My second short film, Parkway Hop, is currently touring the festival circuit with stops in Rooftop Films, Bend Film Festival, and the San Francisco Jewish Film Festival. My next two short films, Gettysburg and Frat House Massacre, are currently in post-production. I have edited three feature films and seven short films. Notable credits include Habitat (Shanghai Film Festival 2024) and Fisherman's Burden (Winner of best international short at Festivalul Cinema Paradiso). Commercial clients have included MTV, BET, Hugo Boss, DKNY, Jose Cuervo, Clinique, and The New York Knicks, among others.
As a film critic I've has contributed to Mubi Notebook, Screen Slate, Senses of Cinema, Filmmaker Magazine, and many other publications. Since 2023 I have been an active critic on the international festival scene, providing coverage for the Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia, the Red Sea Film Festival in Saudi Arabia, the Golden Apricot Film Festival in Armenia, and the New York Film Festival. I also freelance as a programmer for Spectacle Theater in Brooklyn, NY where I program films from all over the world and formerly ran a bi-weekly screening series dedicated to Hong Kong cinema.
